Durham Convention Centre in Ajax, Ontario features an expansive main hall that accommodates up to 1,000 guests banquet-style or 2,000 theatre-style, complemented by a grand foyer filled with natural light and flexible spaces for conferences, galas, weddings, and private celebrations.
Our banquet space can be divided into four halls — Nova, Titan, Lunar, and Eclipse — or opened into one expansive hall for large-scale events. Each space offers elegant chandeliers, customizable staging, and built-in bars, giving planners the flexibility to create the perfect atmosphere.
The foyer offers a naturally lit space for registration, cocktail hours, or networking receptions. With built-in screens and direct access to lobby bars, it creates a seamless flow between gatherings.
Upstairs, five versatile suites offer a range of uses. Three suites feature private washrooms with showers, perfect for bridal parties, VIP guests, or anyone needing added comfort. The remaining suites provide professional boardroom and lounge-style layouts, ideal for breakout meetings, welcome receptions, or smaller group sessions.
The new outdoor area will include a peaceful water feature, a gazebo, and landscaped greenery, creating a beautiful setting for weddings, small gatherings, or outdoor celebrations.
